Laird and SharonShare On TwitterShare On GoogleI procure black vinyl lep (size C) chair covers from Circa50 in November 2004. I just re-consistent today! These exedra (and ottoman) covers have been outside 24/7 in San Francisco and still do not have worn or commotion areas. I’m replacing them because there has been some fading (from black to a silvery grey color), algae accumulation on the undercarriages, and some hazard blot due to outdoor bird remnants over the donkey’s. Regardless, the basic infrastructure (grease, frame, construction, etc.) has endured. I have had numerous canvas cover replacements since the original iron (butterfly) chair devise were purchased in the 1950s, but these vinyl protect have outlasted any canvas overspread I’ve ever buy by at least 10 years! So happy Circa50 has thrived through the years and I expect I’ll be back in a decade or so! ReplyFebruary 18, 2015 11:17 am

After escort the type of investigation I am famous for, I concluded that the Indoor/Outdoor vinyl fabricate screen from Circa50 were the way to go. I am stout sure the amount of detergent and drop kick energy I used to try and sinless my canvas covers is a fraction of the rib of these vinyl covers (which sell at $55 each). So there you have it – right? Wrong. About a week after I wrote that post, I get an email from Circa50 Owner Steve Dunning saying he would like to help complete the job and mail me some new sling covers – what an awesome thing for me!

I bought a white vinyl butterfly rocker cover from Circa50 12 ages ago. I live in Albuquerque, elevation 6,000 feet. High UV exposure, Relentless sunshine. This cover has spent all its life outside. It finally failed this Spring. It might have lasted a little longer but a hummingbird unchangingly picked at a frayed end crown to use the material to build her nest! This a fine performance, apparently very firm

A few weeks ago I undertook a project to restore old butterfly chairman I had “acquired” in an effort to constrain them a bit more presentable. The final piece of the process was to replace the white canvas slipcovers with something promote. I had tried washing them with my own habitat brew of oxyclean, bleach, Febreeze, curse words and drop kicks but no matter what I did, they looked like a active petri dish for some school of horrors art project. I knew that anyone who was willing to sit in those canvas covers was either drunk or was thinking “is this going to gnaw through my pants?” the faithful time.

julesShare On TwitterShare On GoogleI beloved these pictures so much and path ahead and ordered from Circa50 multiple clock. Excellent products and patron service from Steve and Jeff. The website is easy to feed, and the white nylon butterfly chair covers are of fantastic quality and arrived quickly. The nylon is heavy duty and opaque, stitches are strong, and the white color itself is clear, saturated, and slightly warm. Thank you gentlemen for making these covers available for us. Rufus DoggShare On TwitterShare On GoogleThose behold a lot probable the chairs we used to set up to watch my kiddie play soccer on fiery, hot, hot summer days. You’re right circularly that sweathog thing, which is why I stayed standing and walked around with a camera on a monopod. That and I didn’t have to hang around the touchline jawing with the soccermoms… Brrrrrrrr… ReplyJune 24, 2011 6:21 pm

And so it begins. Next property you know, you’ll have 4 chairs, then a table, some side tables and a giant TX bad-ass grill. You’ll start to want awnings and umbrellas and some plastic pool sport to go with your future pool. And the coup de grace? Polyester clothing. You’ll see…Oh, watch, that’s me. Not you! But I love your chap-approved photo. The rocker covers obviously got the ear twitch of happiness. And Steve sounds like one very smart guy. BTW, I know of a great sconce you could put outside!

My father boughten a brace of butterfly roundabout in 1956. My best memories come from sedent in them reading or playing with my cat. About 25 years ago, I found them where my father had stored them. They had corrode and and needed new paint. I turn naval jelly, smeared them and washed off all the oxidise. I then repainted them and have never had to repaint them again. They are in fabricate condition while possession gone through 4 covers.

Back in December 2010, I wishlisted a pair of butterfly chairs from Circa50. Well, my wishlist prayers were repay. Circa50 generously offered to send me a pair of their lep roundabout in my choice of cover. I immediately told Jordan I wanted black ones. He told me if I bend another ebon thing that I’d be sleeping out there on them. Apparently, he’s a little sick of my black, white, gray semblance design and demanded that I choose something vibrant. I sucked it up and went with the orange. I’m considering getting some replacement covers just as backups, too (I change my mind a lot).

I’ve admit the new vinyl weave shield (took about 3 weeks) and I must say they are even nicer than I anticipated. They obviously look great, but they have this little bit of give to the mesh that makes them very comfortable to sit in. The mesh also allows air to move through the cover and as a result, the back of your shirt doesn’t get all sweaty – making you look like a sweathog when you endure up … although once I had a drudge pattern that looked like Thom Yorke from Radiohead so that was sorta cool.
