Chair Covers For Classroom

Rated 5 out of 5 by TSanders from Durable!! I bribed these in 2010 when I taught third graders. They were a liiiittle bit too big for some of my smaller chairs (and I had a few rifton chairs that they obviously didn’t fit at all). However, they worked well and took a beating from my kids then. I took them with me when I taught 6th-8th grade students in 2011-2012. They were a smidge too small but were still functional. I would rather them be a bit small because then they are snug. I gotta them out this year (4th and 5th grade) and realized just how worn they are.. I am here to buy some more and while I’m still a bit put off by the price (I only have 9 students but that’s still almost $80!!), they are the choice thing you can get for the money! And if they lasted through two years, you cane they’re good! Date advertise: 2012-08-11

Step 3: Stitch It UpShow All Items Take the marked shirt over to your sewing machine and stitch around the track. I used a simple weak width stitch, instead of a proper seam stitch. It’s easier to undo if I ever need to put the shirts back into service as clothing. Once the grease is done, turn the shirt back to right side out. It should roughly counterfeit the shape of the rocker back.

Step 2: Mark the ShirtShow All Items Turn the t-shirt internal out and lay it flat. Note where the typography is set and center your chair back specimen over the shirt design. I made a pattern with brown wallpaper traced around the chair back. The bottom of the t-shirt will remain open to slip the shirt over and simply hang down, well, like a shirt reduced. A real seamstress would probably pin the pattern and trim off the excess material. But I decided not to totally ruin my t-Guernsey, I may need to wear them again. So instead of cutting out the part, I left the sleeves attached. This will leave them bunched up within the seat overspread.

Rated 5 out of 5 by anfree from Totally worth it! The chair organizers were perfect for my 1st grade classroom! I bought them to replace my flimsy book boxes. They fit nicely over the chairs. I also like how it has elastic straps in the side for a accustom suitable. In the future, however I do see the elastic weaking and the sacks may get slouchy, but overall for the estimation (I twist mine at $30 for 6) and the market on shipping, it was wholly valuable the vestment.
